John Robison is an immensely talented singer, stage director, actor, comedian. all-round entertainer, teacher and source of inspiration to everyone with whom he comes in contact!

We share happy memories of our work together at the University of Kansas where I was Director of Choral Activities for 7 years. John was a role model for so many of his contemporaries and I was fortunate to coincide with his years there as an undergraduate.

I am immensely impressed with what he has done since and what he is launching now - A brilliant idea which will bring joy, new excitements and fascinating experiences to the young at heart of all ages!

Congratulations and Good Luck to the amazing John Robison

“Working with John Robison as a director was an absolute privilege. He has a way of drawing out your natural ability and allowing you to really get to know your character by giving you the freedom to feel more natural and at ease in your role, then enhancing it with subtle additions, a gesture here, an inflection there. I really and truly feel that John Robison is one of the best directors I've ever had the chance to work with.” – Jessica Robins, Basehor, KS

"I felt very comfortable in the Improv Workshop exploring new characters and ideas, live.  John had many varied exercises and taught us techniques in order to generate ideas, and add interest and dimension to even a short improv sketch.  He did a nice job of making each class relevant to all of us, even though we were widely varied in experience from a beginner, to seasoned entertainers.  The classes were small enough that each of us got plenty of stage time every class.  I highly recommend it." - Debbie Huffman, Shawnee

"His professionalism and love for people and theater make him a great performer, director, and teacher. John brings to each rehearsal an enthusiasm that is infectious. His affinity for improvisation provides a sense of spontaneity to each of his roles, scripted or unscripted. One gets the impression that he could stand on stage reading a page from the dictionary and make it entertaining. As a director, John has a special way of seeing one’s potential and then artfully, and even cunningly, drawing it out. He has a natural ability to make even the most timid first-time actor feel very much at home on the stage. With all of his knowledge and background, John remains very approachable and will gladly listen to any suggestions from one of his actors. He is, by far, one of the most pleasant people with whom I have had the opportunity to work. I can always count on John to bring something extraordinary to each theater event." – Denise Gibson, Lansing, KS
